I really love those colors they're so vivid and make me smile...
I just want to mention something concerning Oiran hum they were considered prostitutes back in edo's era not like Yujo they were more [fancy] if I can put it like that as you said they were well know for their unique fashion and artistic skills ^^ they're equivalent to Korean Geishas (aaah I'm just so in love with geisha ^^)

Oh, don't worry about that:D (Big Grin)   I don't know a lot, too!  I love fashions of oiran...I don't know the oiran history well.:D (Big Grin)

SAKURAN is a very popular movie. That is very cute. Mika Ninagawa of the supervision of SAKURAN,

She is admiration of the Japanese girls!!

Digital art is awesome, but still doesn't compare in my opinion to traditional media. The colors are so much more vibrant with real life physical pigments.

I'm the same, too!! the traditional media is interested. I like real physical pigments.

It takes more talent and skill too since you can't so easily undo a mistake like you can with a computer. There's no ctrl+alt+del in real life.

It is agreeable for what you are saying. More traditional art should become common!

The world overflows for digital art. I am bored by a girl revised in Photoshop.

You know it has been a while since I've done this but how would you like a pokemon sprite? You just tell me what pokemon you want and I'll combine them.

Sorry,I don't know Pokemon well. I watched an animated Pokemon in the days of a child.

Though there is Pokemon center in Japan, small children use it.

The Japanese geek seems to watch other anime. I don't watch an anime and manga.

So nice!! I thought it was digital art at first.  I loved how you mixed old and modern Japanese culture.
How do you get the colors to be so colorful and vivid?  Do you scan your images?  When I scan my drawings, a lot of the color is washed out and quality is lost.

Wow, Thank you! I'm flattered.
This picture is a pop art drawn by Ukiyoe style and not an ukiyo-e by traditional technique.
The ukiyo-e is a woodprint and declined in Meiji Era (It is more than 100 years ago)
Thank you for your comment. :)
